What We Collect

Quiz Data (Client-Side Only)

When you take our concealed carry insurance quiz, your responses are processed in your browser only. We don't send quiz answers to our servers or store them. Your data stays on your device.

Google Analytics (Anonymous)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes:

• Pages visited
• Time on page
• General location (city level, no personal address)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)

Google Analytics anonymizes this data and we don't use it to identify individual users.

Affiliate Tracking

When you click an affiliate link to an insurance carrier, we use tracking pixels to understand whether a purchase was made. This helps us measure which carriers convert best and manage affiliate relationships. We don't track your personal information - only conversion events.

• No Payment Information: We never process payments. You purchase directly with insurance carriers.
• No Personal Information: We don't collect names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.

• No Server-Side Profiles: We don't build individual user profiles or track you across the internet.

Cookies & Storage

We use browser storage to:

• Remember your UTM tracking parameters (if you arrived via a link)
• Store quiz session data temporarily (cleared when you close the browser)

Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies. You can do this in your browser settings without affecting basic site functionality.

Third-Party Services

Insurance Carrier Links

When you click to visit an insurance carrier's site, you leave Carry Shield Quote. Their privacy policies apply to any data you submit directly to them.

Affiliate Networks
